OVERVIEW

Ruairidh, a current (ba) fine art student is completing his final year (2016-2017) at the university of chester. his focus of interest lies between forms and appearances, whereby architecture, industrial objects, found and conventional everyday items are all thrown into question.

EXPERIENCE

2016: cheshire west and chester council - chester markets

from the beginning of may he undertook a five week placement, throughout that time he was challenged to produce commissioned artworks that could be displayed within the market environment to make it more visually pleasing.

2017: 'untitled', princess street car park, chester [upcoming]

as part of a module undertaken during his third year, ruairidh liaised and negotiated with the manager of car parks within cheshire west and chester council. the artwork produced is to be displayed at the princess street car park.
